Median Adults

 What is a Median Adult?

In spite of what some may think, an adult is not someone who has arrived, but one who is continuing on a journey of becoming all that God wants them to be. While the challenges of life may be different, they are still challenges. Learning how to deal with those challenges according to God's Word and God's plan is what the Median Adult Ministry at Oak Hill is all about.

At Oak Hill, a median adult is any person between the ages of 40-59, male and female, married, divorced, or single- some with children, some without, and some with grandchildren, often caring for three generations of family- who share similar life experiences, such as aging parents, the "empty nest," health changes and challenges, becoming a grandparent, and will and estate planning, just to name a few.

Our desire is to present an enviroment where the Bible is taught and application of that teaching is applied to real-life challenges for those at this stage of life. You are invited to become a part of the family of Oak Hill, where we may not know all the answers to life's questions, but we can certainly introduce you to the one who does, while providing a support base of other median adults to encourage you in your Christian walk.
