Giving preschoolers a first look at who God is . . . First Visit to PreschoolIf you are planning on visiting our Preschool Department for the first time, please take a few minutes to read this page. This will give you a good idea of what to expect. We look forward to having you visit.
Our Check-In Procedures
In order to be admitted access to the Preschool Area, you must first check in at the Check In Desk. Our Visitor Check-In Desk is located in The Connector between the Activity Center and the Worship Center. Initially you will be required to completely fill out a security form which we will keep on file for your child. This form provides information on parents' class location, preschoolers' allergies, and special needs. When you check your child in, you will receive a sticker with your child's name and security number on it, to be placed on your child's back. You will also receive a security number card for you to hold on to. You must have your security number card in order to have access to the Preschool Hall and also for your child to be released to you. All preschool room doors are kept closed for your child's protection. When picking up your child, please knock and wait for your child to be brought to you. You may enter the room only if your child is sleeping, but no siblings will be able to enter with you. If you are needed during the service, your security number will show up on the large screens in the Worship Center. The safety of your child is our number one priority, and we have these procedures in place to help make it as secure as possible. We also require that all volunteers go through an application process which includes running a background check.
If you would like to go ahead and print off our security form to fill out ahead of time and bring with you, please Click Here. You will need one card completely filled out for each child Birth through 5th grade, and if possible please print the page on cardstock. Thank You
Our Classes
We have seven classes on our Preschool Hall. The first two classes promote developmentally, and it is up to the parents to promote their child when they feel that they are ready for the next level. The rest of the classes promote yearly by birth date. We promote in August.
What to Bring
We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to our Preschool Department. Here is a short list of what you will need to bring with your Preschool child ages birth through three (or until completely toilet trained):
