Frequently Asked Questions

When I enter my password and username it says they are incorrect, why?
The username and password that you receive are case-sensitive. If there is a capital letter in your username make sure to capitalize that      letter when you enter it in the username box. The same applies for your password.

Can I set up a personal calendar?
Yes! When you visit the Calendar page look at the top left corner by the menu bar – you will see a link that says “Select Calendars.” Click      on that and you will see a list of calendar that you can choose to view or not view. Click on the box labeled Personal Calendar and you will      see your personal calendar. Now you can enter and add events as you want.

I am a member of a specific group but it doesn’t show up when I login, why?
If you are not listed as a member of a specific group that you already participate in it is because you have not been placed in that group in      our records. Simply sign up for the group in question online or contact the church office or the group leader and you will be added.

Why hasn’t my profile updated?
When you enter in new information or correct old information in your profile is still must be approved by the administrator before it is      officially changed. The same goes for calendar requests, volunteer positions, and roster changes.

I forgot my password what do I do now?
On the login page you will find a link that says “Forgot your password?” Follow that link and enter your username. Your username is always      your first name and last name together (with no spaces) with the first letter of each name capitalized (i.e. John Doe would have a username      of JohnDoe). Once you put in your username the system will email you a new temporary password. Copy and paste it from the email and      enter a new permanent password to access My Oak Hill.

Why can’t I view the online directory?
In order to view or print an online directory you will need an updated version of Adobe Reader.   Enter www.adobe.com/downloads into      your browser. Follow the directions to download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader for free.
